Machu Picchu Menjejak Warisan Inka yang Abadi


Machu Picchu, situs arkeologi yang ikonik, terletak di ketinggian sekitar 2.430 meter di pegunungan Andes, Peru. Dibangun pada abad ke-15 oleh Suku Inka di bawah kepemimpinan Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui, Machu Picchu berfungsi sebagai pusat keagamaan dan tempat tinggal bagi kelompok elit. Namun, pada abad ke-16, selama penaklukan Spanyol di Amerika Selatan, Machu Picchu ditinggalkan dan luput dari perhatian dunia hingga ditemukan kembali oleh arkeolog Amerika Hiram Bingham pada tahun 1911. Situs ini menjadi warisan dunia UNESCO dan terus mempesona pengunjung dengan arsitektur spektakuler dan keindahan alam sekitarnya.
